Role Overview
The Finance Coordinator Intern will play a vital role in strengthening Pocketride’s financial operations. You will support the finance team in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The role also involves integrating financial tools like QuickBooks, conducting cost analyses, and preparing reports to support investor communications. This internship provides
hands-on experience in financial coordination while contributing directly to Pocketride’s growth and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Statements Preparation
o Assist in preparing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
o Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Tax Compliance
o Research and understand applicable tax regulations.
o Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
3. QuickBooks Integration
o Assist in the setup and integration of QuickBooks for financial management.
o Ensure effective use of invoicing, reporting, and core financial features.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting
o Collaborate with the finance team to build and maintain budgets and forecasts.
o Incorporate insights from operational growth and expansion initiatives.
5. Cost Control Analysis
o Conduct basic operational cost analyses.
o Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and present findings.
6. Cash Flow Management
o Assist in monitoring daily cash flow activities.
o Support preparation of cash flow projections to ensure financial stability.
7. Financial Modeling
o Learn and apply financial modeling techniques.
o Contribute to business decision-making around expansion and cost management.
8. Investor Relations Support
o Assist in preparing financial reports for investors.
o Contribute to presentations and data reports for funding opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (in progress or completed).
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an asset.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
● Passion for startups, financial management, and organizational growth.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting and investor support.
