Position Overview
As a Learning & Development Specialist Intern, you will play a critical role in creating interactive, engaging, and compliance-focused e-learning modules. These modules will be designed to enhance training for employees, drivers, and organizational processes. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in instructional design, multimedia content creation, and compliance-driven training development.
Primary Responsibilities
● Design and develop visually appealing, interactive e-learning modules tailored for
employees, drivers, and compliance teams.
● Produce engaging learning content, including audio, video, graphics, and infographics.
● Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information, draft and edit content, and build structured training materials.
● Implement quizzes, assessments, and knowledge checks to reinforce learning.
● Develop content for driver safety, licensing, background checks, company policies, and
onboarding.
● Integrate modules into the company’s LMS or online platforms, ensuring responsiveness across devices.
● Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and refine modules for improved effectiveness.
● Maintain records of development processes and prepare reports on training outcomes and learner engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
● Academic or project experience in e-learning development, instructional design, or
multimedia content creation.
● Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Canva, or similar).
● Knowledge of LMS platforms and digital learning delivery.
● Strong writing, editing, and visual design skills.
● Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
● Interest in compliance training, safety, or onboarding processes is an asset.
